OUR STORY
I have always said that our family was blessed with grandparents who lived right around the corner. Our son David had the benefit of their wisdom and loving relationships that only grandparents can provide. As the years passed, Papa Joe and Grandma Helen grew older and their needs began to change. Moving from their home was not an option. Grandma was adamant about caring for Grandpa and remaining in their own home where they were comfortable and happy.
We tried to manage the situation, but our relationship became strained. As an experienced health and senior care professional I knew we needed extra help. We needed more than a “paid employee.” We needed someone who was highly qualified, honest and who would take a genuine interest in Papa Joe’s and Grandma Helen’s well-being.
That personal experience and my more than 35 years working with seniors and their families led to the founding of Senior Concierge Services. A very personalized service designed to help people like Papa Joe and Grandma Helen live independently in their own home, safely, comfortably, with peace of mind for the entire family.
